Canon PowerShot G11 10MP Digital Camera with 5x Wide Angle Review

The Canon PowerShot G11 10MP Digital Camera with 5x Wide Angle is a supreme camera that will gain admiration with pro's, advanced or novice photographers due to its elegant image quality, you have full manual control of the camera settings, and RAW shooting capacity. If it's not sensible or secure to take a huge DSLR a advanced compact such as the Canon PowerShot G11 10MP Digital Camera is a attractive winner. It's excellent for photographers hunting to snap high resolution, high quality, and low light photos without having to carry a big SLR system in their kit.The Canon G11 features face detection tech that can see and trace several faces within the frame to ensure the perfect focus and exposure for them.

Before Canon's latest release, I had a Canon PowerShot G10 as my everyday camera. I bought both the Canon PowerShot S90 and Canon PowerShot G11 10MP Digital Camera the opening weekend they were on hand and have been measuring both of them to the Canon PowerShot G10 for the past couple weeks. I have shot hundreds of pictures operating all 3 cameras shoulder to shoulder with the equivalent setup. The top compact camera is disputed feverishly on the internet, with many votes presented to the Canon PowerShot G10 and Panasonic LX3. But now, I think Canon's new debut of both the Canon PowerShot S90 and Canon PowerShot G11 10MP Digital Camera might put a prompt stop to these deliberations. There is no question in my mind that the Canon PowerShot G10 and Panasonic LX3 sit above all challengers. The Canon PowerShot G11 10MP Digital Camera, Canon PowerShot G10 and Canon PowerShot S90 benefit from the capability to take raw format and the 1/1.7" sensor, which is bigger than the 1/2.3" sensor installed in innumerable other compact cameras.

I want to buy a DSLR camera in range of 0, Can you suggest which I should go for....Canon or Nikon?

I have heard Canon is always better. People who have experienced ....please reply.

    • ANSWER:
Do some independent Research, google will provide plenty of sites that offer peoples opinions. And that is what this will be as well. I have used Nikon for 25 years and I love it. Just bought a D40 and can't say enough about it. Both are very good cameras, it might just boil down to which one you can get a better deal with.

  2. QUESTION:
Point & Shoot Canon camera closest to a DSLR?
I'm planning on either purchasing the Canon SX110 IS, SD990 IS or even possibly the G10. I was wondering which one of these would be closest to a DSLR. I'm only a teenager and I'm only limited to a certain amount of money. I was wondering if their was any Canon cameras in this price range(s) .

    • ANSWER:
      G10 hand down

the only thing that the other camera has better is the extra zoom besides that the G10 will eat them up

      Lens 28-140mm 35mm-equiv.
      Shutter speed 15-1/4000 sec
      ISO up to 1600

and it support RAW files which along eats the SX110 alive! ;)

    • ANSWER:
I got a Nikon D40 a few years back for around 0, and it's great. Now Nikon has a few newer cameras in the same price range. Basically all I can recommend is, go for Nikon or Canon. Don't be tempted by a cheaper brand or you'll end up regretting it someday.
